Life sometimes feels different from what we expect, leaving a gap between what we hope for and what actually happens. In these moments of disappointment or loss, we might find ourselves asking, “Where is God?” Just like John the Baptist, who, while in prison, questioned if Jesus was truly the Messiah he’d been waiting for.
This message explores how Jesus meets us in the middle of our pain, offering hope not by immediately changing our circumstances but by first tending to our souls. The sermon encourages us to look past our current struggles and see the eternal hope Jesus provides, bringing peace and healing to the deepest part of who we are. Jesus’ priority is to heal our hearts and restore what has been lost, proving that even in the toughest times, He is here.
