Join Pastor Meg Cooke as she unpacks the biblical concept of change, or metanoia. This Greek word literally means a change of heart and mind and is the foundation of our faith. Pastor Meg reminds us that while change is inspired by God, it is not inevitable—we have to choose it.
Pastor Meg shares powerful real-life stories—from former gang leaders and successful professionals to our own lead pastor—who embraced this life-altering transformation.
Looking at the story of Stephen and the Sanhedrin in Acts, we’re challenged to ask: “What is your temple?” Like the Sanhedrin, we often hold onto things (control, career, old prejudices, or even shame) that give us a false sense of power, purpose, or identity. Meg encourages us to trust God’s incredible kindness , knowing that when we lose our life for Christ, we will actually find it and gain back more than we ever let go of.
