We began our new series, Your Place, Your People, Your Purpose, with Pastor Josh speaking on “Come Find Your Place.” He started with Matthew 5:14-15:
“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.”
He concluded with four reminders a father gave: The Robe, The Ring, The Shoes, and The Braai, from Luke 15:22-23:
But the father said to his servants, Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Lets have a feast and celebrate..
