Young, scrappy, and hungry is the call to be an active, bold part of what God is doing! Pastor Gary Snowzell challenges us to move past a passive attitude, asking: do you want to be in the room where it happens? Pastor Gary encourages a “Caleb spirit” that is always ready to take the land, no matter your age.
He uses the famous story of the paralysed man lowered through the roof to illustrate that when the front door to opportunity is closed, the young, scrappy, and hungry find another way, even if it’s “uncivilised”. We are called to overcome resistance and be devoted to God’s “go”. It’s about doing whatever it takes to bring others into the presence of Jesus.
